B + G Wedding

Breanne and Greg tied the knot in LaGrange on a perfect early summer afternoon with a gorgeous ceremony at St. Francis Xavier. The church photographs so beautifully and lets in so much light- I'm excited to head back there in July for Michelle and Brian's wedding! After the formal pics I had a chance to grab some shots of an impromptu game of pool between the newlyweds- too fun! This was followed by cocktails on the patio at the the Oakbrook Marriott. Later guests moved inside to a huge and beautiful tent decorated with lilac accents. Breanne is a chef so she made sure to have some amazing food at her reception, stone crab, sushi, coconut shrimp and oysters started the night and the food only got better. I loved getting to document your big day- hope you guys are having a blast in Mexico!

more pics from our awesome engagement shoot! i had a bunch of places in mind that i have always wanted to shoot at and kathryn and sean were up for anything....so we hit them all- yahooooo! from cool old hotels, to under the el tracks in uptown, to my gorgeous local dog park, to a carnival! (next to the local high school- so "Grease" of us- right? ) it was so much fun and these guys rocked it! i am loving their pics!!! i can't wait for the wedding, i know it will be amazing!

i had an amazing engagement shoot yesterday- these guys are adorable and we hit a ton of fun spots and got some awesome stuff! im so excited to edit through the rest of these. to start, i had to share a few that we snapped in my alley- love them!

here's a sneak peak at breanne and greg's awesome wedding that is still to come. i'm still playing catch up with my editing so have lots of new stuff to post! i'm also playing catch up with my sleep, on monday night i decided it would be a good idea to go to a concert that started at 10pm (the harlem shakes- check um out, there are goooood). I dragged my little sis Morgan with me, btw -thanks for coming sista! they had 2 opening bands so didn't even get on till close to midnight, way too late for me- i'm too old for monday night rock shows!

pete: the dog whisperer

yep- my sweet puppy looks a little crazy in these pics! i have been trying to get griffey to jump the fence forever, tossing tennis balls over it and bribing him with treats...

but griff would always run around it or sneak through

so the other day at the park, pete thought to bribe him over the fence with his frisbee, as griff is obsessed with it

and within minutes he was a fence jumping maniac- good fun!

meg and josh's engagement pics

i met up with meg and josh yesterday to get some fun engagement pics for their save the date cards.

They are getting married at the drake hotel in december so we decided the drake would make a great background.
we also hit up the canal off lake michigan for a few shots- i have just started playing around with the images but on the first run through here are a few that caught my eye...
im excited to edit through the rest of them, looks like we got some great stuff- i will post more shortly. i also shot a gorgeous wedding on saturday that im excited to dig into.. so check back soon!
