here's me in my bathroom with my new lense- isn't it perty? i dig it! this picture makes me think...boy i need to do something about my hair- and oh- i love my new lense- and gee- i need to quit playing on my computer and get out and enjoy the weather!

i just got a macbook pro- its pretty sweet! im used to working on a pc- but have decided to take the leap to a mac and there has definitely been a bit of a learning curve but i think its worth it. and im finding all kinds of fun new features- like comic life- i threw together a few images from last years trip to costa rica and -tada- my very first comic strip (okay - i realize there is no real plot here- but my pictures are oh so perty- and im just learning- jeeez) i promise my next comic will be - well - more of a comic! but look below to see my first attempt....

my nephew's dog died unexpectedly in october- ever sense jack has been begging for a new puppy to love. last wed he got one! everyone said they wanted to see "the look on jack's face" when he saw his puppy for the first time- well now they get to! just look below....
went to florida for a long weekend with some friends, can't belive we came back to snow in chicago! im sooo ready for spring. we had a great time - checked out miami, palm beach and attempted deep sea fishing, however we didn't catch anything :( but we did an airboat tour of the everglades that was amazing!
