review me!

first up, i want to tell everyone about the gorgeous wedding blog, elizabeth anne designs, she posts all kinds of fun ideas, amazing photos, vendor reviews and more! i recently joined her "photo library" where you can review my services. so if any past brides or clients would like to write a review for me on there i would love it! here is the link

another place to review me is wedding wire. i joined a while back, but have done little (okay, nothing) to promote myself there. the way it works is, you get more points with each person that reviews your site, and i would love some points! here is the link so if you have some extra time on your hands, go crazy and review away!

and since no entry can be complete with out a photo or two- here are a few of my adorable (and over photographed) dog- mr griffey! Photobucket

photo project

last weekend i was inspired by another photographer's blog (theblogisfound) to print out some favorite shots and hang them around my house on magnet boards. the idea is to switch up the photos every month or two- replenish them with new pics and start an album with the old prints. i love this idea because i have soo many great photos but never print um cause i can't decide which ones - it just felt too permanent to frame them- so this is awesome that i can change them so easily!

i bought my magnet boards at target (although ikea has some great ones too- i was just too lazy to drive all the way out there) got my magnets from the containter store and ordered the prints from my awesome pro lab, white house custom color. i also got a few magnet strips from the container store and hung them between the windows in my office- below is the result....a photo explosion!
Photobucket
all the pics on this post were captured with my other new purchase- a nikon coolpix s210, my old point and shoot finally died, and lugging around one of my huge and heavy pro- cameras is not always fun- so it is great to once again have a tiny camera to toss in my bag or take on hikes! i had to include a few shots of griffey after retrieving his ball that i accidentally threw in a huge mud pile- oooops! and a shot of griff's new favorite hang out spot- right at my feet under the desk in my office.

maleperm.com

i recently recieved an email from an old friend about a very creative charity website she started to help raise money and awareness for her friend with a rare form of cancer.

basically, her boyfriend is perming his long gorgeous hair this sunday in support of their friend, and the more money that they raise, the longer he will keep sporting the perm! please check out maleperm.com to read more about it or donate.

and since no blog entry is complete without a photo- here is a shot of my trip a few years back to the emerald isle...

favorite superbowl ad

another video to check out- loved this ad! normally i'm not too into the superbowl, but my dad played pro-football for the cardinals back in the 70s so i was cheering them on! I was pretty bumbed they lost- and i lost 20 bucks in the random score card draw thingy- oh and it was to a 2 year old- yep, the 2 year old one the jackpot- she has no idea what to do with the jackpot where i would have totally put it to good use! woe is me : (
