LIFT @ A New Leaf 2010

Fr. Jamels James and members of Old St. Patricks Chicago LIFT organization celebrated their 6th Annual Scholarship Event raising funds for the children of LIFT. Funds raised during the event will provide room, board, education and LIFT leadership training for children ages 12 to 22 from Southern India. Our goal is to LIFT these children out of the poverty, disease and lives of neglect.

LIFT (Leading India's Future Today) is a not-for-profit founded by Fr. Jamels James and friends to provide education, leadership training and community involvement opportunities to bright children that would otherwise not have the opportunity to receive a formal education. LIFT is committed to helping these children transform their own communities through education.
